We recently opened the doors to the Heather, our three bedroom showhome. We designed this showhome to have a highstreet style, making it easily accessible and affordable for our customers to create the look the less.
The Doves is a collection of just 14 new homes in the charming Derbyshire village of Doveridge. Traditionally constructed and highly energy efficient, the two-, three- and four- bedroom homes at The Doves are either detached or semi-detached, Featuring seven different house types including L-shape and bungalow designs, each home benefits from either a private driveway or garage, good sized rear garden and electric vehicle charging point.
Novak and Parkes says 'When we set out to design The Heather show home at The Doves, our goals was to showcase a true blend of style and approachability. Our vision was clear; to inspire prospective buyers by illustrating how they can effortlessly replicate this ambiance in their own homes using readily available high street brands and products.
The design boasts a foundation of soothing neutrals, artfully complemented by hints of refreshing sage and earthy moss green tones. The interplay of warm oak, rattan, sumptuously textured textiles, and the occasional touch of sleek black wood and metal accents further enriches the interiors. By embracing the calming presence of green, we opened the door to more daring design decisions, like the dynamic use of asymmetric colour blocking to refine distinct areas and the inclusion of stylised furnishings that strike a balance between chic and coxy, ensuring a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.'
